The Flapper Era
The flapper era was really only a short period of time (1926-1928), but they are still widely remembered today because they changed the way women were looked at drastically. The ending to the war brought on the flapper image because of the new attitude people had towards life. The flapper look and lifestyle eventually disappeared after the Wall Street crash and through the following Great Depression because their high-spirited attitude was less acceptable during the times of hardship.
